Expresiones inglesas que debes conocer

Existen expresiones y mucho vocabulario coloquial que, generalmente, no se aprende en las escuelas ni academias de idiomas, pero que te será de gran utilidad, ya que te ayudarán a mantener una conversación de un modo muy natural y fluido.

  1. “You’re away with the fairies” o “You’re away with the mixer”. Se podría traducir por: se te va la pinza, se te va la olla, estás como una jaula de grillos… :-D:-D:-D:-D A mí me encanta!!

      La verdad es que no conocemos ninguna expresión ne inglés que se pueda atribuir a esta expresión en español. Nosotros lo traduciríamos como “there’s no comparison“, que, al fin y al cabo, es la definición de la expresión en sí (no hay comparación).

  3. Hola, ¿estas expresiones son sólo británicas o también americanas? Daba por hecho que las británicas son las que entre paréntesis ponen UK, pero no estoy segura si estoy en lo cierto. Gracias.
